Hey guys, did some updating on my main page of my site.

Added the following:

Facebook feed (links to twitter, instagram, tumblr and Facebook)
Slideshow with some work
Square payment logo for mobile payments this year (I will be adding a link to the pic so that when you click it it will redirect you to the square page which includes packages and pricing)

Just wanted to get a quick review from some fellow detailers.

Thank you,

Making a website is no easy task. Im no expert my self but IMO i feel like its missing something on the home page. Perhaps under the slide show id add kinda an about me paragraph and also bring the bottom copy right info up so there isnt so much empty space below everything. Other then that i think it looks good buddy.

The about me is the next page with a lot of info which is why I did that..I've tried to shorten the page but it doesn't let you do that for some reason. Thanks for the review:)

Yeah i saw that after i posted the comment. Maybe something like a paragraph of some sort in that area. What website builder did you use?

I would remove the Square payment stuff from the header. Your customers don't care, have you ever gone into a store and wondered who is processing their payments? It would be appropriate on a FAQ page or something along those lines, but not on your homepage, in the header.

I'd also remove the social media buttons from the header, put them in the side bar or the footer, they shouldn't be the main focus, competing with your navigation and call to action area.

I would also limit the width of your site to the width of your navigation bar, or at least make the offset symmetrical.

Below your navigation bar and your CTA (your first image) everything looks out of place. I feel like it's because of the Facebook side bar, but also there is a lot of dead space between the image slider and the footer.

I also don't see any contact information on your homepage.

You're also lacking (or have if any) SEO work going on in the background or in your page content so people will actually be able to find your site through the search engines.

PM if you want more help, but that should keep you busy. :)

I was going to say something about the FB buttons as well. Right when i clicked on your site i could tell that you havent been around for years. Not like thats a bad thing i mean we all gotta start somewhere. But the FB button showed how many people have liked your FB and that number was really low. Being the new guy on the block isnt a bad thing but in my opinion i feel like it could possibly drive potential customers away if you advertise you are new. On my site since im new im not putting any links to social media. I will have advertisement on sites like FB but not till i establish a good number of people will i add it to my site. Just my opinion.

So I have some time on my hands and decided to completely redo the site. Same link but I changed a lot. Added square payment clickable link to site. Facebook, more info etc.

I think the lighter colors looks much better than the black theme I had before.

Saying you have an advanced interior package, then start with a base price seems a little odd to me. I caught that right away. I would simply list it as an interior package only with a starting price, with the price being more or less depending on what you deem necessary to do and what the customer wants.

lol I did the same exact thing. I worked on my site for months. In the end though i felt like something didnt look right and that it looked empty and unorganized. So i used a template and re did the entire thing.
