UPGP Final process

After a wash, clay, wash, Ultimate Polish, some scratch correction, and an rinseless wipedown I put down a coating of UPGP. Then reading about layering it, I laid down 2 more coats, 3 on the hood and front quarters.

Once this all cures I'd like to do a final buffing or jeweling to a high gloss.

What's the best way to do this? I have a Griots Garage GG6 and Black & Blue LC flat pads and Grey Chinchilla MF Towels among others. Thanks, Dave

Unfortunately a final jeweling requires a ultra fine polish which will remove the UPGP.
 
Gotcha, wrong terminology.

What's the best thing I can do to get the most shine from the UPGP. Hand buff with my best MF towel, or use my DA with some product, a QD, Spray Wax, etc? Thanks again, Dave

What you see is the best it can be at this point.
 
For what's its worth, I used Polish Angel High Gloss on top of UPGP. WOW.

you've got all the shine you can get from it, you can use a QD or wax occasionally but there would be zero need for your DA is you've already polished and protected. Honestly, just let it be, you can't get any more shine than you have now no need to rub a towel over it either. UPGP is just a sealant, what you see is what you get at this point.

If you're using UPGP as the acronym
for Ultima Paint Guard Plus, then, (if
I'm not mistaken), it is a product that
you don't "buff"---Wipe it On, and then
just Walk Away.

I use UPGP all the time. If applied properly and not streaky, your shine should be terrific after 3 coats. If you do want to try to improve it I would suggest Ultima Waterless Wash Plus or the new Ultima Acrylic mixed as a detail spray. This really brings back the shine after a wash and extends the life of UPGP. OR, use any polymer based spray wax such as Four Star Spray Wax, Optimum Car Wax, McKees 37 Fast Wax, etc. As long as it is polymer based it will compliment the UPGP well. Hope this helps.
