Used Dewalt 849x for $50 good deal????

Ok so I work at a Napa Auto Parts store and last month we ran a promotion where if you brought in your old dewalt polisher we would give you $50 toward a new polisher. Well I was looking at one a guy brought in and it seems to work fine. One thing though, sometime when you pull the trigger the machine won't come on. If I spin the pad then pull the trigger it works fine. Now it only does this sometimes. I'm thinking the contacts might just need cleaning. Is it worth it to pick it up for $50?

In a heartbeat.

Mine must be 20+ years old. They are built like tanks just hard to wear out. I bet there is a loose connection in the switch. That's an easy fix.

sweet, I had already made my mind up but if yall gave me a legit reason to not get it I would think more about it.
