It is as good as ONR or DP RW IMO! It did a great job, but as Corey's review of DP RW & ONR concluded the latest versions of DP and ONR are about equal performance wise. Ultima performs on par with the competition. An ounce makes 3 gallons but costs about 2X more than the others if you buy the gallon of ONR or DP. I like the scent more than the mulberry ONR and a little more than DP. A beta tester said it is grapefruit. It was a little stubborn on glass but I really dont do a very good job on glass with a rinseless and much prefer to use Clearcote Quick Shine on glass and just get the heavy stuff with rinseless. Im sure CEE Dog will update his most excellent review once he gets his Ultima. It is the only product that is also a SUPERB Waterless Wash too!

Jim, Thanks for getting the scoop to us straight away! Like I mentioned, I'm really excited about it as a waterless wash. Great to hear the early review on it. Thank you!

btw: ONR... Mulberry? Is that what that scent is? I knew it was some kind of berries! I like that scent but I haven't found many that agree with me :D

It's better than the old ONR chemical smell. Jim where do I find Mulberry to compare? LOL

How does it compare to OOC? Is the new Ultima a rinsless or waterless or both?

Ron, IME it works very well as a Waterless first and a rinseless second. IMO You will probably like some little something about one over the other, May be smell or color , but IME you are not going to notice a big difference in performance cleaning or the final finish. They both leeave a high gloss compared to DP which doesnt gloss or protect like these new products. IMO DP WW cant compete with the Optimum or Ultima. Reasons are cost per oz Protection and gloss. Ive always had to QD or Spray Wax over DP WW. With OOC or Ultima you have a QD on steroids that does all that in one step! OOC wont replace ONR, but the Ultima will do both very well. Send me a pm with your address and I will send you enough to make a gallon!

I read about the mulberry scent. I wouldnt know a mulberry from a dingleberry! It has grown on me! I like Ultima scent better IMO only!

Jim,

Where did you get the Ultima.

I can't keep up with your new finds. :dblthumb2:

Corey glad you got it! I want to hear how slick you think. it is. I never felt anything like it on paint, Is my reaction placebo?

I haven't used it yet but I know it's slick. I lost about 1/2 oz in the packaging. Lid leaked about 1/2 oz... Of course that was concentrate. A shame actually (as that 1/2 oz would have made 22 oz. of product) Anyway I felt how slick that was while I was cleaning up my bottle. Gonna mix some up in a little bit and check it out.

I ordered a bottle of this over the weekend. Can't wait to try it out. :xyxthumbs:

Dang! Id email them and have them ship another one. The bottle is really cool i.e., when not leakiing!

I just received the Ultima Waterless Wash (16 oz. concentrate) and am too impressed with its slickness and performance.

As a waterless wash, comparing the 16 oz. concentrate of Ultima to the 32 oz. conc. of Optimum, Ultima is much cheaper than Opti-Clean. My math shows about $0.59 (=0.5 oz.) to make 22 oz. of Ultima and about $2.75 (=5.5 oz.) to make 22 oz. of Opti-Clean. Again, I'm just talking as a waterless wash, not as a no rinse.

Just an FYI we have it in stock so if you want to grab some you know where you can get it.

Meghan, this is terrific news! I was actually thinking about sending you a PM as I was quite curious when it would hit.

Well, I washed about half of Skybaby with the UWW. I'll skip the long story and get straight to the point. I'll save the pics and story for later.
Basically I got some kind of nonsense all over the front and passenger side of Skybaby on the way home today. Well, with my UWW sitting there when I arrived I ended up pulling it out and mixing some up with the empty bottle provided. I used about 5 mf towels. Did the hood, front bumper, entire front of the car, passenger side, and 1/2 of the passenger side of the rear lid. I had my LED strapped to my hide to watch for marring during the whole process and found none. I can't wait to use it some more!

Can't find it, can you provide a link?

I can't find it either Ron. Must not be on the website yet. Meghan said "in stock" so probably have to call it in or leave a comment in the box. Hopefully they'll have it showing on the site tommorrow.

Oops, typo

Jim, I was stressed about what I was dealing with on my car and whether or not I should be using my waterless. (ended up being just the ticket) But anyway I'll have to play some more. Do you mean the slickness of the product or the slickness of the paint after using the product? I have an opinion on the slickness of the paint afterwards but I don't want to state it until I play with it again.
