usind a drill gun for meguairs da power system

ok so i just got this and i had a couple questions? when buffing using polish or compound what speed should i use it? and also can it burn the paint? i have the black and deker drill 12v from wall mart

I have never used that product, but if it's a DA, you can't burn the paint. You could still go through the clear coat if you really overwork the area but DAs are very safe.
