Using Menzerna SR4000 w/LC CCS Black Pad

Using this combo with a PC 7424xp set on the speed of 4.

Am I suppose to go fast on each pass? or go slowly like when I was cutting?

Also, how many passes should be good?

I was doing 3-4 passes when I was cutting with the Menzerna FS400 (using a Meguiar's MF pad)

Speed 4 on the PC is a too slow to break down SF4000. Try speed 5 or 6 with medium arm speed and medium pressure. As for passes, you'll need to do a test spot and see if you get the desired results. This will vary greatly on different paint systems.

Sorry I mistyped....

For the FG400, I use speed 5.

For the SF4000, I use speed 4. I do about 2 passes and it looks fine to me. Wasn't sure if that's correct.
