If I mix ONR to a QD solution (1oz to 2 gallons water?) is this stuff good for cleaning plastics, dashboards, doors and navigation screens on the interior? Thank's.

Many people have been talking about it on facebook in the detailing for dummies page. They are using it all over the place, even on patio furniture!

The recommended dilution for ONR as a QD is 8oz. / gallon. I've used it like that on interiors and it's OK. Personally, I prefer OptiClean for interiors. OC is not only a reasonably effective cleaner, but leaves behind some gloss and protection, as well as doing a great job on touch screens. There are better waterless washes than OC IMO, but it's my go-to product for interiors.

I tried the ONR this morning in a QD solution on the interior and it was ok;I'm going to stick with the 1Z Einszett cockpit premium that I ran out of.( thought I'd give something else a try). Thank's for the replies.

Just an update, i used this to clean our bedroom this weekend. We have serious construction going on and the house is a mess. I used ONR to clean our bedroom set, TV and furniture, so far so good!

ONR works fine for interior and general cleaning but i too prefer Opti-Clean, mainly because it is supposed to have a super high concentration of the stuff that keeps things from getting scratched in it's prescribed form. i know ONR can be made into a quick detailer...which is what i use Opti-Clean for, but i am confident in Dr. G's chemistry savvy enough that if he released this as his waterless product, it's the safest overall option.

for the value conscious, the average cost per mixed 32 oz spray bottle if using distilled water is $0.88 for ONR in QD dilution, $2.25 for Opti-Clean.

I used it today to do a quick wipe down on a car in for a maintainence detail. I was waiting for the sun to give me the shade I needed to wash the car so I gave this customer a little freebie 8-). I used the 1 oz in 2 gallon concentration. Soaked a microfiber in it then wrang it out, wiped the surface then dried with another microfiber. It did a nice job, I was just going for a quick cleanup and it did just that I used in on vinyl, leather, hard plastic and cleared trim pieces.i would definitely use it for this purpose again.

QD dilution for me has never worked out for interiors. Glass gets a film cleaning ability is so-so. It just didn't work for me.

I use it all the time. ONR is my go to. I add ONR to 2 gal of water. I do the interior first with that solution and if I need something stronger I'll use whatever is in my arsenal. I have never had a problem using ONR on the interior (or exterior)

It works ok on interior. Definitely intended for dusting and light dirt though, not heavy cleaning
