Utah!

Me! Pleasant grove to be exact. How about you.

We should get together on a weekend or something. Breakfast, detail your own car, help/get help from others, sample some products others have before we order in bulk. Who'd be interested?

Im down for some bulk orders or even if any one wants to sample some of my stuff. What do any of you got or like?

Ooh a collective order. I love it. The biggest thing that stops me from spending all my money on products is shipping costs. $15 for a chemical and $10 for shipping sucks. Let me know next time you place an order and I'll add to it and split the ship fee.

We need to get together first. I'm available on weekends and after 5pm weekdays.
You guys are welcome to send me and email at [email protected]

Well, I'm just starting out so I'd love some help!

A lot of OTC stuff is good. Don't discount it. Sometimes there is much better though. I have bought a lot of Meg's an DG stuff OTC and its nice to have it readily available. AG sell very good stuff and you won't be dissapointed. Let me know if there's anything in particular you would like to try, I might have it. I use a lot of CG products too

Also feel free to ask me about products I used or liked/disliked.

So this is my cart so far something i'm missing is of course polish so if you could give me some recommendations on that, that would be awesome. Please let me know if i'm missing anything or if i should change something, by the way i'm only focusing on exterior car care.

BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection

One of my favorite polishes is blacklight topped with V7. It leaves the cars looking great. Another polishes people love that I will try sometime is the 205. I have never tried the white diamond but people like backfire a lot and from what I read it last a long time. All this is subjective though to what condition your paint is and to what state do you want to get it to. Mike Phillips has a ton of great articles here and you will learn a lot from him. I have alway followed his approach of KISS, keep it simple. That is if your ok with your car just looking better than most cars, you don't necessarily need to spend time doing a show car look. Also if you start doing it for friends or family sometimes you'll find yourself wanting to do full corrections but all they would need or even want is make the car look shiny. I did a black VW Jetta Friday and although I wanted to seal the paint and wax it (it's a new car so it doesn't need much work) all she wanted was for it to look clean inside and out. So I did a quick WW and threw some DG spray wax and she was stoked at how nice the car looked.

Yeah I'm thinking about ordering M205 what DA would you recommend? I'm contemplating between porter cable and griots

I have the PC and love it. Never tried the griots. I contemplated buying the flex but since I only detail my cars and once in a while do ocasional side jobs I just dont think it would justify dropping 3 bills on a new machine. If you buy the griots let me know what you think.

I would also add to your order some wheel cleaner. I like the DP wheel and rim gel, it works awesome. If you have a car with brake dusting Like BMW or MINI then some wheel sealant like PB or the DP one will help in cleaning wheels off.

Hey man I have the gallon size of megs APC+, glass cleaner, wheel brightener, and a bunch more. You'd be welcome to come fill up a bottle so you can get a good feel for it before you buy it.
I've read a lot about the optimum all purpose cleaner and want to try it but I gotto wait till the megs stuff runs out.

As for which DA? I also have a pcxp and its pretty nice as long as you stick with 5.5" or smaller pads, but I'm wanting to try another of the DA's out there,I also have a Makita 9227 rotary that I don't use if anyone local in interested in trading a DA+ cash or products for it.

Truthfully, however complete you think your order is at AG is, your gonna find something else you want as soon as you check out...its the addiction. So don't worry about perfecting it, just jump in and get started.
Good luck to ya.
