I need to replace my old shop vac... what vaccum cleaner does anyone reccomend? I was thinking of the Rigid cleaners from Home Depot....?

Primarily just for auto use.....

Thank you for your assistance!!

I have a Rigid 5HP 4 gallon vac I got from Home Depot (can't recall the model #). I like it a lot, its nice and compact for auto use.

Metro

Killr-

What makes the Metro a better vac than the others? Big difference in price... so sell me.... :D

quality .... dual fans on the larger unit. can be used as a blower also. Made in the USA , metal versus plastic canister. Can be hung to wall, or used on coasters as wanted/needed. Filtered warm air, and a company that has been in existence more than 60 years.

I love my Ridgid, that thing is 3.5 HP. It sucks the sh*t out of my carpets and I use it to dry my truck of as well.

Tough little monster!!! And the price is RIGHT!

That's the one I have! Love it. I have also gotten into the habit of using it as a blower as well, helps get the water out of the cracks and crevices so I don't get any mysterious leaks, especially around mirrors and grille area.

If you have a Dyson upright, wheel that sucker outside with an extension cord. I was amazed at how much more I picked up after using my shop vac.
