I recently purchased a 2015 Veloster Turbo in Ultra Black, such a beautiful color that already had soooooo many swirls and paint imperfections.
I got my handy Griots orbital out and went to town. I used Meguires Ultimate compound and then finished it with their ultimate polish. I was able to get 95% of the swirls marks out, I was hot, sweaty, and full of hate of the sun (even though I was in the garage, I am a big boy and did not fair well). I decided I was happy with where it was at.
After a wipe down with Car Pro eraser, I applied my oh so awesome of a product opticoat, here are the results.
