Vintage & Original Shelby Cobra Correction Detail

Hey Autogeek, one of my clients wanted us to perform a Correction Detail to remove swirl marks and other paint defects in this vintage and original Shelby Cobra.

Upon Arrival:

Flex XC3401 Speed 4-5/ Dewalt Rotary 1400 RPM

M105/ Meg's Maroon Cutting pad

Menz SuperFinish/Lake Country Black Finishing Pad

Menz Powerlock Sealant

Beautiful car and looks like you did a nice job on it.
If that's the original paint, it'd be interesting to hear the paint readings, if you were able to take any.

Is it literally just a tarp or is it some special water catch thingie for your CA water issues?

It is a water reclamation mat, the sides keep the water trap on the mat and I have a waste tank (60 gals) inside my van and a pump to reclaim the water. Then I dump the water in the sewer drain instead of the storm drain.
