Probably have in the past.
No concern back then about what chemicals were in the lacquer thinner (LT)...virgin or not.

Nowadays...
I realize that harm can befall a person not equipped with at least the basics of knowing where to
look for the chemicals/ingredients in a product...and if they are considered hazardous or not.

That includes humans, the environment, and even components of vehicles.
("Plastics", for example: are notoriously difficult to discern what 'cleaners' will not be detrimental to them.)


I don't believe there is:
That one standard formula for Virgin lacquer thinner (VLT).

But a variety of chemicals---and their %<<<Very important---will be included in some VLT-formulations.
Here's some of them:
-butyl acetate
-Acetone
-ethyl acetate
- n-Butanol
-anhydrous isopropanol
-xylene
-toluene
-propylene glycol
-Stoddard solvent; mineral spirits

Surely some of the chemicals/ingredients are listed on your VLT-product's label?
If so...
Google 'em up on the computer. Their characteristics/uses are available for various tasks' consideration.

If not...
Type in MSDS for your product/product's name.
Hazardous chemicals should be available there.

I don't have any, but I did have some years back and I was given the idea to use it from another detailer.
