Hey everyone! I've been a car guy my whole life and am involved with many different aspects of the hobby. I've always been on the mechanical side of things, but I found this forum and I'm impressed with what you guys do!

My question is, is there a way to search the site for members who are pro detailers in my area (southeastern VA)? Maybe a guide of some sort, for trusted detailers who do paint corrections? I'd like to maybe get a paint correction done on my new (to me) 2009 Jetta, but I don't want to pick a detailer randomly out of a phone book and end up getting an overpriced car wash. Any help would be appreciated.

I live in Gloucester county and work in Newport News.
 
Welcome! There should be a few people in the area that are on the forum.
 
Sounds good, I'll check those guys out. Eventually I'd like to start doing some of this stuff myself but its a lot of initial expense, and I have a lot of learning to do, so for now I might seek out a professional

I'm still in the process of checking out people's work and deciding what I want. I may also have a dent repaired before I get it detailed, so it will be a while before I get it done. Just kind of seeing what's out there at the moment.
