I have a new 2020 Volvo XC60 with driftwood trim, which I love, but it's also a first for me maintenance-wise.
See photo. It's rougher texture and does not appear to have a more traditional clear coating or finish I'm used to dealing with. Does anyone have experience with this particular natural wood product available on more recent MY Volvo? If so, what product(s) have you successfully used to protect it, or to clean-up any future finger prints, spills, or the like that may occur over time?
For now, I'm just using a clean, lightly damp microfiber cloth giving it a quick "dusting" after each hand wash, but would like to get ahead of the game in terms of protection, and know what to have on hand should I ever need to resolve a problem. I don't often eat/drink in the car myself, but passengers already can't help themselves to touch and feel the driftwood, since it's rather unique and out-of-the-norm. Thanks in advance.
