I had a Volvo S60 in for a correction and sealing this weekend. I felt this would be the best bet for the customer as the hologramming and swirling present really wasn't too deep, just all over. The paint was a little too thin for my comfort in some areas for a daily driver, so I didn't want to go to town compounding on it.
Products Used:
Tires: Zep 505
Wheels: 1Z Colortec
Foamed down with Maxi Suds + P21s TAW
Washed with Optimum Car Wash
Clayed with Nanoskin Fine Grade + Wolfgang Rinseless
Areas of concern + trim were taped off
Paint Correction: Griot's Fast Correcting Creme + Orange Hydrotech thin pads
Sealed with Blackfire Wet Diamond
Wheels + Exhaust sealed with Ultima Paint Guard Plus
PERL on Tires
Glass cleaned with Wolfgang Perfekt Glass Cleaner
Some Before Shots:
This was prior to putting any LSP on the paint. It was then sealed and pulled outdoors for some other photos.
You can see some of the deeper defects that remain, but it looks a lot better for a one step session.
