I picked up 2 of these, as they are on BOGO currently.
I picked these up mainly for around the house, as I have 2 cats in a rather small home - so cat hair removal is a daily task. I've had brushes like this in the past. They worked OK, but not great.
The cats:
This brush pleasantly surprise me. First thing, it comes with no directions. This may seem pretty dumb to mention for a pet hair brush, but its not clear that the handle swivels around in a 360 degree circle. The detents hold pretty tight, and at first I suspected that it swiveled, but didn't want to snap off the handle.
It wasn't until I saw this little picture that I realized the handle must swivel:

As the brush comes in the package with the handle 180 degrees off from the little picture:
It has multiple positions:

Anyway, my usual attack for pet hair is my Shark Swivel vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment. The problem with that is it's time consuming too hook up the vacuum to clean up cat hair multiple times a day, and, you never really get all the cat hair up because it sticks in the bristles of the vacuum brush.
Vacuum brush:

Using a vacuum style brush re-deposits cat hair, as its constantly stuck in the brush. Even if you spend the time to get it all out, its fills with cat hair right away.
The VOScope brush gets up ALL the cat hair. It doesn't leave a hair behind.
Cat's bed (I just cleaned this 12 hrs before):
50/50 after using VOscope brush:
You can see the brush has the ability to remove ALL the hair.
Again, this surface was "de-haired" 12 hours ago. This is LIGHT cat hair, as picking it up can be a full time job. Like I mentioned before, the vacuum will pick some of this up, but it does leave "embedded" hairs behind. Also, I constantly have to pick hair out of the vacuum brush bristles
The VOscope brush doesn't actually "pick up" hair. It "brushes" the hair into a clump so you can easily remove it.
The surface after:
99% of the cat hair is gone. I find when using a vacuum, the less car hair on the surface, the worse it does - and the more work it is.
Here is a close up of the brushes "V" bristles of the VOscope:
The brush seems different then other brushes like this I've tried. Another problem I've had with brushes like this is the handles break. This brush seems pretty sturdy, as I find most things are that come from Deutschland:

I've also tried brushes like this:
These brushes only work on a very small surface, and don't work very well. Also, the handles always break for me.
Thanks for looking.
