Can you guys recommend a wax or Sealant that will make the Specs, on blue metallic paint pop. Any but Zymol products. ( too expensive)

Thanks

2 coats of CG Blacklight
- 1 machine applied with white pad on speed 4
- 1 hand applied (after cure time)

PLUS

2 good hand applied coats of BF Black Ice

Blacklight does something with the metalic paints.... can't explain.
Black Ice makes it deep and dripping wet!

P.S. Blacklight by itself is Ok but does not last long on dark paint in the baking heat

Wolfgang Fuzion really brought out the metallic in my Cyber Gray. :xyxthumbs:

You must have a delicate touch to apply the second coat of bl without removing the 1st coat of bl even by hand

Blacklight is a must IMO, I used dodo juice blue velvet and then purple haze pro after. My blue metallic looked awesome.

Poorboy's black hole + Fuzion.

Below Pic doesn't have black hole as a base... Wearing Fuzion as LSP.

Blacklight didn't do much on my two blue cars. My favorite is BFWD. I have dark metalic blue on my impala and light metalic on my chevelle.

if I recall OP, you are in the group that believes it is all in the prep, compound, polish steps (this is not an insult)

and since you do not believe in the boutique waxes or the high dollar waxes, and believe that all waxes is just for protection

with that said, you should just get Meg's #26, Colly 915, or Colly 845, which would probably give you the results you are looking for without breaking your wallet,

oh and if your budget allows you to splurge a little, try SS2 (sig series II), the picture on the description is probably the "metallic blue pop" that you are looking for

Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax will give you a deep, wet finish will exceed your expectations. car wax, carnauba paste wax, pinnacle

Re: "Want Blue Metalic to Pop"

Not quite "Blue Metallic"...but there are some 'blue-metallic flakes' in the below "prepped":
DCM BC/CC paint system...that's being enhanced, as it were, by M26.

:)

Bob

Mothers clay bar
Dodo lime prime cleanser
Wolfgang deep gloss pain sealant( 2 cotes 24hr apart)
At this point I notice max flake pop up
LSP was Meguiars Ultimate wax in my case

all the applications by hand

Dont know how to attach picture from flickr to here :( If any one help

looks great, but is that purple or blue?

its clearly blue... lol you must be one of the few who give men a colorblind rep

but I don't even think BMW makes a purple bmw, only custom paint job I believe (I could be wrong, this is based off my common sense rather than research)

I also think WG Deep Paint Sealant and the Spritz is the right combo for maximum bling. It allows your natural paint show through but you paint should be in good condition. It does not darken or fill like some products.

If you have the goods, it will show it off.
