Hello fellow Autogeeks.

I have finally gotten my break in detailing on the side. A teacher of mine who has to be one of the best hooked up people in town wants me to do his cars, and if I can do a good job, I get a small fleet from his buddy who owns a small contracting business. This will include washing/waxing and a polish for each truck about every 3 months.

Heres the catch, I need some supplies. I know what you all think, youngin asking for handouts... NOPE.

Im here to offer my web design services as collateral. I can do CSS /HTML and some Javascript. I ask of no charge except just a few products, used or full it doesnt matter, I just really need to do this guy right. Any donations of old products are welcomed as well, here is a list of what I need going into these three cars.

Some drying towel or towels.
Washmit, current one is... dated.
Polishes, Optimum, XMT, doing trucks, so a low dusting compound would be nice.
Some APC
Foam applicator
Duragloss 101 / 105 / AW Any one is fine.
Orange pad
Brush to scrub wheel wells.

I would not usually ask for this, but you WILL receive web work before I would ask for anything. I hope this is a good chance for autogeeks to further their web sites and possibly get more customers while cleaning out old inventory. And if you are not pleased with any website work, it is my loss. I dont expect a reward for sloppy work.

Thank You,

Ryan M.

Looked at it today in the parking lot at school. Its a Blue Chevrolet Avalanche. In moderate condition, it has seen a few drive through car washes. He deer hunts, so the interior will need to be scrubed.

I will have access to a hose, so that is not a problem.

Just a heads up, all pms are replied to. Thank You so much to Autogeek and the members here offering this support. This really means alot to me and nailing this will get me business to buy some things for college next year. You are all appretiated and will get something out of this.

Everyone can rest assured Ryan is taken care of... .but he owes me some fries now.

This is amazing guys and gals! I have never seen such an out pouring of help ANYWHERE else!

Thank you to Meghan and Autogeek. I love to give and help out and I see others do to.

:)

Thank You Justin, Meghan, Sevenrd, Killrwheels, cwcad, pt91, JoeP, flatstick for this.

All your responses and offerings are so greatly appretiated. I only expected a few samples, but the community has given me so much here in the responses I have gotten. I want to thank all of you for this, providing me a chance to go out and work to get something started.

I only hope I can give back as much as I can to the autogeek community as much as it has given to me. In the form of advice, sending anything I can, or whatever be it, I owe you all and am greatly humbled by your kindness. It will not be forgotten.
