WARNING to all fellow DETAILERS: Any one interested in Paul Daltons "Miracle Training Centre"--DONT DO IT!!...He is a complete SCAM and CON artist..and stole my $2200 deposit because my airline made a mistake with my arrival times. I tried to catch the next flight out only a few hours later, but he made me rebook and has now stated I cant rebook and I am out of my deposit..........

$2,200!?! Someone is making $2,200 to teach someone how to detail?

The only Dalton I'd ever pay that much money - for any kind of lessons - used to work in a bar in Jasper, MO.

You waited this long for your first post to bash a known detailer. Try an introduction first, followed by some helpful posts and then maybe I wouldn't think you weren't just trying to tarnish someone's name.

^ + unreturnable deposits=Retirement funds?

Sorry to hear you were removed of such a tidy sum that you no doubt worked hard for. Mr. Dalton has a loyal following and his details are reported to be of the highest standards, but I believe a detailing session appointment, (if it were ever possible), with Mr. Mike Phillips would be just as fruitful.

On a lighter note: I'll "train" you for just $1,000.00 and I'll even foot the airline ticket costs!:laughing:

Take care.

1st post EVER here is to complain and flame someone. Sounds like vengeance and only that. Establish yourself here first. I bet you found every forum you could to complain about him with no background. Maybe you should just go back to the 150' mega yacht and stick to that. If you know so much and have such a great career why did you need to pay someone $2200 how to learn. Shouldn't you be teaching others?

That smug attitude won't gain you any friends here. Seems like for that amount of money one would do more than crap on somebody with their first post on a forum.

That's a long yacht. I had no idea Paul polished yachts...

I think I miss read something, your talking down to us while you 2 stage detail a megayacht, yet you paid $2200.00 for detail training? What do you think we do when we are not posting here. By the way, I'm not fooled too...I didn't pay anyone $2,200 to learn to detail! :awesome:

For $2200-I would throw in a Flex PE,some polishes, some waxes and a word of advise:
Before sending the $'s,get the contract in writing ;)

One would think that, even if one knew nothing about polishing, at the end of a 150' mega yacht, one would be pretty good at polishing. That will be $100 please...

Its obvious you were trained by one of the best in the industry recently! (Renny Doyle)

Auto Marine Aircraft Detailing Specialist - About Us click on your own video.

My ? is why would you pay Paul that much money after a tutorial with Renny?

There is no doubt Pauls work is great, but what would he teach you that Renny didn't?

Good Luck on whatever comes in the future for you. I would refrain from bashing someone publicly like that though.

Wow this is funny I would bet a brand new flex to stand my point but I'm not going further.:) I rather stand back and read.

If his contract states the scheduling is non transferable, then your beef has no validaty. Its really just that simple

What the hell are you trying to say Exotic?

Have you been drinking today?

Even if the policy is non-refundable deposits, I still find it unethical to keep the money when no service was provided. Unfortunately, Detailing inc., it's your fault. He did not "steal" from you.

Let's recap:

The Original Poster's airline screwed up and he's mad at the guy running the detailing school. (And, I wonder why reading this stuff gets me mad?)

Gee. When my Air France flight was delayed at LAX and 3 hours late to Charles de Gaul, I missed my 1st Class TEE train reservation. I should have blamed the French National Railways for leaving on time! It was a Eurail SNFC scam!!!

(It was worth it. I was traveling with a friend who had never flown. We were on the tarmac at LAX engines off when the cabin lights went off. A few seconds later, the emergency lighting came on. My friend looked worried.

The intercom cam on and the Captain said in his best Chuck Yeager voice, "Zeees is your Captain, Jacques Fountainbleu. We have experieeenced ze battery pack failure. I would take off, but I cannot see zee instruments!"

My friend headed to the restroom to throw up.)
