I was looking at Maguier's was and wax , any down side of using a product like this?

I wonder the same thing, for sure don't use too much for each wash.

I can't speak for the Meguiar's product, but I've used both the Blackfire and McKee's 37 shampoos with wax and none of them left any sort of buildup.

Long ago, wash-n-wax products were terrible about leaving a buildup, but most modern ones do not. As long as Meguiar's has kept up with the times, I don't see there being any issues.

Depending on your budget, if you are looking for a quality shampoo with a bit of wax in it, I'd highly recommend McKee's 37 Power Wash.

Shoot, I can't even get any buildup with regular wax/sealant. I swear I don't even know how this is a thing...I think it's some sort of old-time conflation of floor "wax", which wasn't a wax at all, which needs to be stripped off with ammonia...that even gave anybody an idea that you could "build up" wax.

I know if I use Meguires gold class wash it can leave some product if I use too much and that's not even a wash and wax. I just know it can leave something that doesn't wash right off.

Gold Class is horrible for leaving polymer spotting. That's different than "build up", at least to my mind. Semantics, I guess.

I too noticed Gold Class leaving some sort of film if you even came close to the recommended concentration levels. I always used a lower ratio. Despite using it for years, I saw the light as soon as I was exposed to other shampoo's. I've not gone back since.

I prefer to just use a dedicated
car wash shampoo---one that
has no Waxes, glossifiers, etc.

I'll enhance the paint in some
other way.

was asking cause someone once said to me that the wash and wax were sometimes contained beeswax so they give u the beading affect and not actually waxed...

taking these two posts in mind I've definitely had "buildup" whether or not its wax, or 50% wax, or no wax remains to be seen. its def buildup though

which shampoo do you use that has not added gloss products..

I found Megs wash & wax a very average OTC product. Step up to McKess 37 POWER WASH. Great for maintaining a waxed or coated vehicle.

McKee's 37 Power Wash, foaming wash and wax
Did it leave megs wash and wax Residue behind?? Anyone try mothers wash and wax I'm looking a cheap otc or other to use with foam gun.
What u guys mean by body shop safe??
Also will the wash and wax build.up on my pavers?

Yup, this is also my aproach.

Optimum Car Wash, Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild, Gyeon Q2M Bathe, etc.

Does mothers wash and wax leave residue and how about megs deep crystal car wash? Does it have wax in it
