When washing a car do you do the wheels first or the engine first?

Most people seem to do the wheels first, I think its really personal preference

I do engine first so I do not have to worry about any left over water on the tires draining into the barrel or on the face of the rim

I does the wheels first then the engine then the trim and lastly the paintwork that way it reduces the amount of water-spots and how long water sits on the paint
