After several weeks of deliberation, I pulled the trigger on Friday and traded my '05 C6 vert for an '07 BMW 650i vert. (Yes, it might not be a fast in a straight line, but everything else is pure "ultimate driving machine" !)

Today, I did a quick wash & an "all in one wax":

Wash: Pressure Wash {with AG delux water filters), DP Xtreme Foam {applied with a foam gun}, Sheepskin Wash Mitt
Dry: Leaf Blower & Cobra Super Plush Delux (waiting on Guzzler to come off BackOrder)
Wheels: P21s, DP Wheel Glaze, & Meguiars Hot Shine™ High Gloss Tire Coating
Windows: SprayWay Glass Cleaner, Cobra WaffleWeave MF
"All In One": Zaino Z-AIO (It was this or NXT Tech Wax, and I hadn't tried the Z-AIO yet), applied with a CCS Green Pad & PC 7424 on 5.

Some Pics I took after, while driving around Stone Mountain Park (it was in the high 80s today).

Looks great love the car! cant go wrong with BMW

That BMW looks so sexy! Sweet ride. The Ultimate Driving Machine. By the way, how do you like it compare to your Lexus?

Screw that Vet, you have to love the pure class of a nice BMW!!!

very nice, since you had the Lexus, thank god you didnt take the dive into the sc430... the 6 series is obviously far superior.

very nice set of cars and awesome clean-up!

I agree, BMW has nice curves and I for one really enjoy curves...lol...that's just me tough.

If you ask me, trading for the BMW is not a bad idea but it all comes down to personal taste I suppose and you got taste buddy....that Lexus is looking real good too.

Did you have any swirls/scratches on the new vehicle? The pictures look good, seems like you had a nice drive. The scenic pictures look nice.

Thank you for sharing.

The BMW is a completely different ride. Definitely a more sporty. So for a "weekend warrior" the BMW is perfect. The Lexus is a quality product (even more so than the BMW), but its a luxury vehicle (fit, finish, reliability, ride) all around. I like both cars .. but they are (2) different cars. Personally, I will tend to choose the Lexus if forced to pick only one (the Lexus has been a childhood dream since the brand was introduced in 1990)

Thanks .. Yes, even the new car has some minor swirls and needs a clay job (I felt some rail dust when I was washing and waxing). I will tackle that in the upcoming weeks .. for now .. time to get out and drive :-)

I totally agree with you on the Lexus vehicles, very luxurious and I really enjoy the reliability behind them. At first I didn't notice any swirls on my new Lexus too but then I started to really look and I've noticed some but nothing to be overly concerned with just yet so I just wax it for now. It's too bad that they get scratched up but I guess it would be pretty difficult to get a vehicle with no scratches or swirls.

Enjoy your new baby my friend.
