I may be slightly insane, lol. I live in Florida, so 50 degrees is pretty chilly and that's been a consistent temperature all day today so far. The wind is what really gets you, though.

I still wanted to try out my EZ detail wheel brush... MY GOD... it's awesome! :D And I also purchased a smaller wheel brush from Larry at AMMONYC, it gets all the tight areas really well. No longer are my hands subject to getting banged up, but I still scrub the tires and inner fenders with an old microfiber mitt.

The best part I find about car washing in the cooler months is that I don't go through 2 or 3 shirts doing it. The movement is enough to keep me slightly warm and comfortable, but my fingers were getting cold as ice.

Anyway, thought I'd share my random car wash experience. The highlights were definitely my new wheel brushes. Thought I'd be let down, but I couldn't be happier! :xyxthumbs:

50 would be a heat wave in PA right now. never got out of the 30's this weekend. but next weekend looks ok.

LOL. I'm sure most of you guys are jealous, but from what I've heard from northerners, they say the cold up there is a lot dryer (drier?), whereas Florida's cold weather has the wind to it. The wind almost stings you. Not to get weird here, but my nipples are a little... frostbitten feeling, lol.

Ummm, ever been to Chicago? It's get windy in the north too. lol

I've done ONR washes in the 30's wearing shorts and a t-shirt...

Nope. I talked to some guy from Michigan once and he said the cold up there doesn't bother him, but the cold in Florida is worse because of the wind. I don't find that to be completely true, but Florida is the home of wacky weather. Today we're freezing, next week we'll probably be sweating in muggy weather once again.

I live in south west va . Its been some crazy weather here. High 50s one day loe 30 the next with wind . I hate the wind makes working in th cold wore. But I still go vBulletin out and woek as long as its not below freezing . And I get uses to it

Every wash I've done this winter has been around that temp range, one weekend it got into the 60's but since october it's been 50* washes with buckets of hot, hot water. Needless to say I'm used to it by now and actually enjoy it, but I most certainly wouldn't mind an extra 10-15 degrees.

Hell 50 would be a heat wave even here in Alabama lately! As a transplanted Canadian I will say that the cold has a dampness to it here that it didn't growing up in Ontario. I'd shovel my driveway in a t-shirt in college when it was 15 or 20 out. Here I flake out when it gets into the 30's - that damp gets to your bones ;)

In upstate NY we would kill for 50 degrees right now, not to mention dry weather.

Down here in Vegas we have been hitting 70's over the weekend. Makes it really enjoyable to be outside....

Yeah, 70 is like the perfect temp in Florida. Usually means a clear day, comfortable weather, just the kind of climate to make you wanna be outside all day.
