Washed my car yesterday...quick detailer to get water off?

Hey everyone. I just washed my car yesterday and it sits on the street. This morning, my neighbor was watering her plants and sprayed water all over the backside of my car. Can I use Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer to get the water off my car to prevent waterspots? It's been sitting outside for 1 day since I washed it. I assume it's okay?

If it is only lightly dusty, you are good to go with the QD.

alright, i made sure i used a lot of product and wiped my trunk with a good microfiber towel very gently. there were stains on my towel but im assuming they were just light dirt. everything went ok i presume? this is normal?
