Washing a car using a garden hose and the 2 bucket method or washing a car using a pressure washer. Which is safer and which is more eco friendly??

What exactly makes it right or wrong?

Because of this right here:

"For regular maintenance where you want to be gentle on your car's finish, the garden hose and bucket method might be preferable.
For heavy dirt or quick cleaning, a pressure washer could be more effective, but caution is needed. Using a wide spray nozzle and lower pressure settings can mitigate risks.
If you're new to car washing or concerned about your car's paint, start with the bucket method. If you decide to use a pressure washer, ensure you use it at the lowest effective pressure setting and maintain a safe distance from the car's surface

  • Cons:
    • Risk of damage: If not used correctly, especially with high PSI settings, it can strip away wax, chip paint, or damage seals.
    • Cost: Initial purchase of a pressure washer can be pricey, plus they use more water.
    • Learning curve: Requires some understanding to use safely and effectively on a car.
.

This describes mythoughts 🤔
I'm ❤️ AI

As for AI, I was googling for information about the grounding of the USS Frank Knox destroyer in 1965. I read several small articles. The AI report was essentially a word for word regurgitation of one of the articles.

I'm AI

I use less water with PW and make less of a mess and I wash inside my garage

No range yet

Not sure there is a right or wrong here. It seems to be preferance

Same thing but better than Google
It takes the emotion out of the response
I don't have to waste 2 hours looking at 3 different websites on any particular subject
You also never read a bunch of garbage trying to get to a answer

Intelligence isn't the same as honesty, several people have lost their jobs by relying on AI for their work. So I asked an AI what it thought about it.

AI Overview

When people say "AI makes stuff up," they are referring to a phenomenon called "AI hallucination" where an artificial intelligence system generates false or misleading information, often sounding plausible but not based on factual data, due to limitations in its training data or how it interprets prompts, essentially "making things up" that aren't true.
Key points about AI hallucinations:

How it happens:
AI models are designed to predict the next word or phrase based on patterns in their training data, which can lead to generating text that seems coherent but is factually incorrect if the data is incomplete or biased.

Why it's a problem:
This can be problematic when AI is used in situations where accuracy is critical, like providing medical advice or generating news articles.

Terminology:
"Hallucination" is the term used to describe this phenomenon, as it's similar to how humans might experience hallucinations where they perceive things that aren't real.

If it works for you who am I to question your method?
All I have is 40+ years of experience washing cars AND AI AGREEING WITH MY ASSESSMENT
😇

What’s the point of this?
Just to argue about opinions?
Who cares if AI agrees?

Because there's only 1 right way of doing things and I don't believe in participation trophies
Other than that keep doing it wrong. I don't care

Man he’s not gonna stop… I don’t know what he’s arguing but he’s not gonna see your point so unless you wanna see his point he’s keep arguing….

Wait. I thought you had me on your ignore list?

Further AI gathers ALL data. All you have is one mans (with hardly any experience) opinion
You don't even have paint on your cars 🙄
Maybe if I detailed cars that had truck bedliner paint like yours I wouldn't be so picky

Doesn't mean it should be treated as gospel truth. Remember the old adage, Garbage In - Garbage Out.

Limitations of AI-Based Tools
1. Accuracy - A typical AI model is not assessing whether the information it provides is correct. Its goal when it receives a prompt is to generate what it thinks is the most likely string of words to answer that prompt. Sometimes this results in a correct answer, but sometimes it does not - and the AI cannot interpret or distinguish between the two.

AI can be wrong in multiple ways:

It can give a wrong or misleading answer
It can omit information by mistake
It can make up completely fake people, events, and articles - called hallucinations
It cannot accurately produce its sources
It can interpret your prompts in an unexpected way
It can mix truth and fiction.

Bias - Text or images generated by AI tools have no human author, but they are trained on materials created by humans with human biases. Unlike humans, AI tools cannot reliably distinguish between biased material and unbiased material when using information to construct their responses.

Haven’t washed my truck since adding the bedliner spray

Thanks for checking them out though
