Washing Car With Brush

Yes, it is in my opinion.

A brush does make the washing process easier, but this brush looks dangerous. The only brush you should use on paint is a boar’s hair brush. You should use something that will not scratch the clear coat.
 
Brushes on paint scare the bejesus out of me. The right brushes for the undercarriage are ok.

The BH brush is great, but very expensive.

Look into a Griot's wash mop kit for nice substitute. :)

What color is your car? If it is black then it is risky. If it is a light color that will not show swirls as much as black then you can test it on the bottom of a quarter panel and see if it works. The soap is going to be more important than anything else. Megs or Optimum are good products to try for this.
 
I use a Montana Boars Brush for my Magnetic Gray Ford F150 and my wife"s white Ford Fusion. I have been monitoring this and the paint is staying in decent shape. Using the 2bwm I let the brush soak in the soapy bucket while I do the wheels. I then foam the entire vehicle and proceed with the 2bwm and the brush. Rinse, blow dry with cordless leaf blower, supreme 530 mf any leftover water and done

I use the Griots for the top of our suv`s use plenty of soap so no marring or scratching .
