Is anyone here familiar with watch repairing?
Removing links, changing batteries, etc. I bought a 29pc kit, but I don't know how to use the tools. I tried doing some Google searches, but I'm not coming up with much. I just thought I would ask here.
Thanks.

I've done a little before (used to manage a pawn shop), just the kinds of things you mention, not real "repair" work. Just batteries, bands, etc.

What kind of info do you need?

How to use the tools. Any place online were I can see diagrams or something?

Not that I know of. The only tools I can remember using were a small knife, a set of small screwdrivers, and a tool for removing screw on backs - it looked like a rectange with two hooks sticking out of one side and a screw type adjustment for changing the distance between them.

Oh yeah, a little tool that looked like a straight edged screwdriver with a notch in ti for inserting and removing pins.

I figured I have like eight watches, why not learn myself how to adjust the links and change batteries. Just another fun little hobby.

mike, what kind of watches do you have. My brother is into watches and worked at a jewlery store, I am sure he can help.
