what size tanks do yall have and how much water do yall usually use washing an SUV compared to a car?

mine is 125. if use it for wheels, rims, and wells then ONR the rest it last for 8 to 10.

I have a 75 gallon tank in the truck. I can do 4 to 5 usually. If there is alot of mud 3 or 4 tops.:autowash:

I also have a 125 gallon tank. I typically get 4 to 5 cars, but it really depends on how dirty the vehicle is. If its muddy, your going to use more.

Does everybody have an electric pump that pushes the water to your pressure washer so you dont starve it of water? I bought one that pumps 3.8 gallons per minute(GPM), i didnt want to take the chance of starving my pressure washer. I just wired it to run off of my Truck battery, and it works well.

Hope this helps!

I also have a pump that supplies water to my pressure washer. It's a small waterbed utility pump. It runs off the dc side of my generator. I was also afraid of burning up my pressure washer!

i have a 50 gallon water tank and works just fine...get about 4-5 cars out of it, but i us rinless wash alot also. I have genarator that my pump hooks up to ...great unit

Ya i have a generator that i hook my pump up to as well.... I have a 100 gal tank... I did a full detail engine and all the other day on a big dodge truck ...( with lots of love bugs and dirt all over it ) i used about 40 gals for that one alone..... As for the pump i just use a simple bildge pump//// cheap easy and when it burns out in a year i dont mind forking out another $ 75.00
