Wax different parts over days?

Hi,

Just wondering given this sustained hot weather: would it hurt to wax a car in portions over time?
 
I rarely have the time to do a full wax job and will do a section or 2 one day, and a section or 2 the following day or a couple of days later. I doubt that a few days sepatation would make any great difference
 
It won't hurt anything at all, in fact that's what I do on my truck. I will polish and wax half and do the other half the next weekend.
 
Ok good to hear. I prefer to do it all at once, but not THIS summer! :)
 
I like doing it all at once but my truck is so big and I can't set aside enough time to get it all done at once. I'd love to set aside a couple of days and just work on it non stop.
 
I can do my car in 2 hours, but my wife's car has gotten the half and half. Makes no difference either way as long as you remember where you left off.
 
You may want to use a 'quick detailer' prior to waxing. Just to get any dust (or whatever) removed first.

Yea, this has been a bit of a brutal summer.
