I washed the cars yesterday. I'm sure the neighbors thought I was crazy; it was about 43 degrees with wind gusts up t0 20mph. Anyway, after finishing my wife's car, I went back to my grey metallic Toyota Avalon. I had run through some white road paint months ago and I hadn't been able to remove all of it. I got the clay bar out, and with unusual patience, I got every bit of it off. That done, I decided to wax it. I used Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. I was very pleased, but the results and looking through this forum have got me wondering?
Is there a wax or sealant that would make the metallic "pop" more than the Wolfgang Sealant?
I've been looking at Pete's 53 and possibly Fuzion.
I'll also admit, that I just love cleaning up the cars. No one talks to me and I can't do it wrong, if you know what I mean.
Cheers.

Fuzion does a real nice job on my Cyber Gray Metallic. Really makes the flakes "pop". I use it over their sealant.

Try maybe some of the below wax ontop of your wolfgang sealant after letting the sealant cure

Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845, liquid wax, heat-resistant wax, car wax

Get the same thing from mine don't worry!:xyxthumbs:

I would do either Fuzion or Blackfire Midnight Sun both are great!

I use the Fuzion on my 2013 Modern Steel Metalic and it does look quite nice. Part of using Fuzion (and Souveran and Midnight Sun for that matter) is how pleasurable it is to use, so smooth on and off, and smells terrific.

The Deep Gloss Paint Sealant would be my choice. It create the best pop on my wife's car.

I like the look of Blackfire Midnight Sun Wax over Wet Diamond Paint Protection on my cyber grey metallic Chevy.

Rider -"If you want more pop, take time to polish the paint"

In my case wouldn't I be polishing the clear coat? The metallic flake is embedded in the paint underneath the clear coat.

That's what he means when he says polish the paint. Clear coat is nothing more that clear paint. If you polish the clear you will enhance the gloss of the clear and the color coat underneath.

Does Carnauba attract dust and dirt?

I like the look, but I'm wondering if carnauba "holds" dirt more than a sealant.

I don't know for sure... but I def notice less dusting when I apply Menzerna Powerlock Sealant (which is an Incredible sealant by the way)

Vs when I top w/ Carnuba I always get more dust.. pollen sitting period

thought it does rinse off easy and upkeep with a quality QD.

Can never go wrong with Black Light + V7 combo

I'm a sealant guy all the way. I recently worked on my Mazda3 by stripping all the wax off, applied Chemical Guys EZ Creme glaze all the way around and then applied to coats of Menzerna Power Lock sealant about 12 hours apart. The gloss and shine are ridiculous. I'm in the process of getting a new camera, so hopefully I can get some good pics of my car.
