Hi, all!

How about i buy cheap plastic sunglasses with no/very little u.v protection and wax them with a sealant specificially speaking, the turtle wax ice one. It says "protects from u.v rays" and it can be used on plastic without any residue.

So, what do you think? Bright idea or am i going bananas about finding used for my wax.

The better question is, why? The sun is good for your eyes. You should take ever opportunity to let it in as much as possible. I tossed my sunglasses in favor of better vision.

Your neighbors must be wetting themselves!

:awesome:

Sun is good? Whats the catch here?

the better test is to wax a pair of regular glasses and stare at the sun for 10min to see if they protect your eyes

I've actually considered waxing my regular glasses because I always have issues with getting them clean and keeping them clean. They're always streaking somehow, some way.

You are going to have to post some quality sources before making this type of claim.

Mackey,
Let us know how it turns out. I will never try that one!
