Gladiator, that is.

So my husband got tired of a year and a half of no news on his Bronco build and no end in sight.

On Nov 29th he placed an order for his Gladiator and on January 2nd it arrived. We picked it up this past Saturday.

Congratulations!! Did you cancel your order for your Bronco?

We have been waiting a year for ours too. Ford royally screwed over the Bronco release and the dealers are screwing the customers. It is a mess.

...been reading stories about buyers of the Mocker-E getting shafted too, also $30K mark ups on the Lightning. I wonder what viscosity of lube these people are using...or is there a supply chain issue

Roger, the market out here is insane. I have customers that have paid upwards of $50k over MSRP on some of these vehicles

Bronco ordering was a supply/demand problem and it was only made worse by the need to replace ALL of the composite removable hard tops. There was a manufacturing flaw that required them to hold all the unsold ones and replace all of those sold. Ford Says the Fix Is In for the Bronco Hardtop Problem

I wasn't all that interested in Ford products because of build qualities I've witnessed personally, but lately they are 0-4 on big product releases. The latest gen Explorer/Aviator hit quality problems, The Mach-E ordering is a mess, Bronco has seen quality problem, Lightening has already pitted the automaker against the dealers.

In all fairness, since dealerships are simply independent franchises Ford has very little control over the price gouging we see on some models. Dealerships are doing it almost universally with almost every high interest/low demand vehicle. Not all of them, but many are.

We call those "The Horse" for some reason. We're sully and weird sometimes.

And yes, a lot of the '21 Bronco orders are being "upped" to 2022 models. And they still do not have ETA's for them.

I don't blame your hubby one bit. Is he supposed to wait 18 months?? Screw that.

Any real work is gonna have to wait till spring now… too damn cold to do anything here now except try and keep the brine and salt to a minimum.

Thx! Yup, he just didn’t see an end in site. And honestly didn’t really need it anymore since he bought the TJ last year.
 
FYI - it’s been super cold here… more pics will have to wait.

I did already buy all-weather floor liners, a 16” antenna, and some interior goodies will be coming soon for it.

I’ve built that vehicle several times on the Jeep site. It’s NICE! Love the blue. BTW 35s fit with no mods :D but not really needed.

Nah...when Monica says it, it is so Although like ANY vehicle, a tire/wheel upgrade goes a loooong way and I've seen those "military lookin' rims" on Jeeps and other 4 x 4's that look incredible
