Bought some used wheels with snow tires on them. Swapping out my stock civic wheels (pristine) I stupidly gave a couple kicks to each wheel to loosen them. I scratched my beautiful stock wheels with my dirty boots.

Is there a product that will diminish scratches on alloys?

thanks

Sounds like one of my bonehead moves

I would try 205 first, if that doesn't get it try 105

Got any :Picture: ?

Yeah post some pictures up. It may not be that bad either M105/205 or Ultimate Compound might fix.

i know there probably clear coated, the clear on wheels is usually harder then paint clear(key word is usually) so just treat it like paint, if you have a polisher take the wheels off lay them down and use a 4" or 5.5" pad to polish out scratches, matter of fact im working on my wheel covers as we speak, i repainted them and i didnt wet sand enough(just got into hardcore detailing when i did it) and just did a m105 on a orange lc pad treatment now time for some m205 on a white then some ultimate polish on a black to jewel em, then ill probably use some wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant topped with 845 :). im betting you will remove scratches from the one wheel and will look great and the other wheels wont look as good so you will probably need to do the rest of them!, i love really shiny wheels for some reason, really shiny wheels and a nice satin sheen on the tires makes a car look awesome.

Worst case you can bring it to a wheel guy, who can fix it for your for a fair price.

Not showing. I would upload them on flickr or photo bucket then copy the link into box.

If your using iPhoto, share with flickr then copy here.

Those doesn't look too bad, does your finger nail get caught in them when you pass it? M105 should remove those light scuffs.

no DA
yes, they can be felt with a fingernail

Polishing should remove or at least reduce those. a DA polisher would make it much easier. If not, careful hand polishing should at least improve them.

Next time kick the tire, not the wheel.
