Coming home from work on Tuesday a person blew through a stop sign at about 45mph and clobbered me in my Lexus as I was going about 60. Spun me around, put me in the ditch with multiple airbag deployment. <sigh> I guess I won't be needing detailing supplies for the foreseeable future.

No. Not yet. I had just polished it out and layered WGDGPS on it 2 days prior. It's the best looking wrecked Lexus you'll ever see.

man that really stinks, glad your ok.sounds like a loss on the auto depicting the speeds as you mentioned.

Nooo! Sorry to hear that. Hope you're ok! That's one heck of a hit, no matter how much the car tried to save you.

Why can't we just have nice things? I recently got rear ended in my avant by someone not paying attention...

Hope the insurance company takes good care of you!

John

Wow. Glad you're OK. Was the other guy/gal texting?

Hopefully your insurance comes through on the replacement.

Glad your OK. Good thing you were in something as safe as a Lexus.

Glad you're ok!
Look at the bright side though, a new car is a new excuse for detailing and polishing

Oh no :( Glad you are OK though.

At least you are in good spirits - "It's the best looking wrecked Lexus you'll ever see."

Car's can be replaced, we cannot :xyxthumbs:

And as ViperGuy21 said - "a new car is a new excuse for detailing and polishing".

Make that new one look amazing, whenever it may be :)

Glad you're OK

:Picture: Glad you're OK, the last accident I had allowed me to get my Camaro, maybe you'll get lucky too.

You're right... It does suck and the same thing happened to me. I had a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP that I bought brand new in 1997 and had kept like new until someone did this a few years ago...

I am glad you are ok. Now, you get to baby a another car.

No texting. She told the deputy she didn't realize there was a stop sign there. The deputy told her, "ma'am it's been there 30 years."

Truly sucks! Glad you are ok!
It sure seems nice or well kept vehicles are magnets for bad drivers & the accidents that come with them.
Good luck on your new vehicle when you get your insurance money.
