Count me in Mike!

I've added your name to the list.

Make the drive. I have people that have driven here from all over the United States to take our 3-day classes at $,795.00 - this one is free.

Done. I parked the wife's lowly SL500 out in front this morning and took a fresh picture.

looking forward to seeing your ride when you find it.

Going to be a Monster Jeep. Something with Chevy running gear, huge lift and 44" tall tires.

Hey Mike, what's involved for the people that attend? I just have some convincing to do. :)

Hey Mike, what's involved for the people that attend?

Well.... we're going to sand the paint flat then remove our sanding marks. After that we're going to polish the paint to a high gloss. Anyone that attends will get to help out and if they've never done this type of work before then they'll have the opportunity to learn how it's done.

It's not a class, but I will be playing Lead Dog and managing the entire process from start to finish. We'll be using a variety of tools, pads and products plus hand sanding and machine sanding.

I just have some convincing to do. :)

I personally would never convince anyone to do this type of project but over the course of my life I've noticed people, and by people I mean specifically people that are into car detailing, either as enthusiasts or professionals, want to have wetsanding as a skill set they possess but after possessing it the majority never want to use it.

:)

^^Thanks for the info. As for convincing, I meant I have to convince the wife to let me head down that way. But, I understand, completely. :)

Because this is on a Saturday, I doubt it. I can check with Yancy though.

We can do some simple things like Facebook Live.

Outside of some pictures and any Facebook Live videos I share, we're not going to video or even time-lapse.

Best thing to do is be here!

Like the color. ;) Some gold leaf script would look very nice on the rear panels.

I reserved a room and will be there for this great opportunity to learn. I learned so much at the last class I want to learn more. This is a great skill for anyone wishing to correct paint. We all have seen a body shop repair that just doesn't look right but were lacking experience to fix it. This will give a person more knowledge to know if a correction is possible or not.

I think most just don't realize how important this class is for advanced education. I just paid for this opportunity on December 3rd. Now it is free!

Love it! A Streetrod Pumpkin. :props:

Seriously though, I am a fan of orange & I do like it on this Model A. Its classy as well as classic. :xyxthumbs: What a fantastic canvas to learn to wetsand & buff out to a showroom shine on. I gotta say too - what an amazing way to get a finish second to none.

Neat project, I'd love to be there to lend a hand on this one. Enjoy for me team.

This will be fun and educational but it will also be hard work, so I just want to set your expectations correctly.

The difference between this and the class you paid for was what you paid for was a REAL class. This is a Thursday Night project that I normally hold on Thursday nights but due to the length of time needed I scheduled it for Saturday.

There will be no power point presentation just hands-on work.

I would love to attend, Mike. See you Sat.!

I agree, my favorite color is orange.

And when it comes to these types of projects... name one other place where these take place and are open to the public?

I would love to attend, Mike. See you Sat.!

I've added your name to the list Jim.

I hope to clear my schedule.
