WG Finishing glaze question

If im using the finishing glaze with a gray or blue pad to remove my LSP and shine up the paint a bit do I still have to let the polish break down? Will it even break down using a gray or blue 5.5in pad on the PC?

How would you guys handle this?

Yes, you always want it to break down if you want the best shine possible. I'd rather not use it at all than use it improperly.

Agreed. If you don't fully work the polish in and let it break down, it will leave buffer trails, no matter what pad you are using. Perhaps in this case you may want to use some Optimum Poli-Seal applied by hand or some other cleaner/polish/sealant like Klasse AIO.

WG FG has a decent work time. You do not need to use a lot after the first panel or so.
