WGDGPS and Fuzion.... or Fuzion alone?

It's a light silver Audi S4 that will be properly prepped and cleaned with WGPPE before the LSP.

Since my previous detailing was almost exclusively Pinnacle Souveran on non-metallic black, I prefer a 'two foot deep dripping wet' look rather than high shine. But I understand the difficulty of pulling that off with light metallic silver.

The question is how Deep Gloss Paint Sealant under the Fuzion will affect the final look versus Fuzion alone. Since Fuzion has some sealant qualities it seems redundant to use both unless there is some unique optical quality to DGPS.

Durability is of lesser importance to me. I'm just concerned about how it will look.

After doing some more searching here, it looks like this has already been answered..

both is best.

I'm not sure how I missed both of those threads, but that helps a lot. I can't believe the difference that Fuzion added to your car!

Fuzion adds that depth and wetness (the high jetting factor) over WGDGPS. I have found it does attract dust a little more than the sealant alone. It's well worth it though. Just remember to wait 12 hours or more between applying the two. Just as you would wait 12 hours before getting the car wet after WGDGPS. This was explained to me by an Autogeek tech guy over the phone.

I do not want to be negative, but deep does not work on that color. At least from the photo. I my opinion you should have gone for shine.

I'll put some Fuzion in there for you Brett. So you can see for yourself.

That's what we're all here for rite? To learn and teach each other and help out where we can. If someone asks me for something and I'm able to help, I will. You're a good dude too Seth. I've made some good friendships while joining this site.

You got it we are all here to learn and have the most swirl free and shiny vehicles around! But you go above and beyond Don! Once I pay off my ride I'm coming to Cali to show that STI who the AWD turbo king is!!

WG DGLS on my silver MB!
Used on paint, glass, chrome, plastics.
Water fly away at 30 car almost dry itself!

That's just begging for an S4 to be included.

Let's do it. Should come out and I'll get a couple friends and we can set up a track day at Infineon or Thunderhill. Would be good times.

And then we do a track day in my neighborhood at Road America.

I'm game. Still have 5 weeks of vacation left.

If my job ever lets me use mine!! My girlfriend has already staked claim to the first one.

And btw Brett I should have said 4 cyl. turbo (don't want to get those Nissan models that end with an R involved!) but either way once I pay it off I will be modding it a fair amount without going too nuts (done that before).

P.S. Maybe after the WG combo you can try the BF combo I have and see which you like more.

From those pics that car looks more grey like my car than silver, but it is a dark setting. And it looks good!
