I washed my car yesterday (2007 satin white pearl Sti) and noticed red dots and stains all over my car. They are small and I was able to wash some, but not all of them off. Its not rail dust as I have that too and color wise it looks very different.
My guess it is stains from the leaves falling off of the trees, but I wanted a second opinion and wanted to know what the easiest least abrasive way to remove these stains would be.
Thanks in advance.

If you've had rain and leaves on your car, that could be staining from the leaves (tannin). Not sure what it would take to remove. Guessing a paint cleaner or light polish. One of the pros hear will likely chime in.

Bug droppings. I have no idea what bug does it but they appear on my white cars a well. You can try a light polish and it sometimes removes them or at least dims them. Sunlight finishes removing them.

Take a mf cloth soaked with megs super degreaser or an APC and hold to a spot for 3-5 minutes. Then gently wipe the same area with it and rinse well afterwards. Doesnt it take away the dirt take a tar remover and do the same thing. If any of this works test just to spray a small area and rinse and see if that works. Do it not work without aggitate spray a small area again and after it's been dwelling take a mitt and a bucket with car soap solution and wash the soaked area. This is what I would do before polishing it. Maybe you will have to reapply the lsp you have on there.

You have the dreaded metal contaminating that every white painted car gets. You need to clay that out. IronX will help as well.
