First of Welcome to AGO!

Secondly so you have a DA Polisher by chance?

If so look at the cycle Brushes as these work great on the DAfor easy carpet agitation.

If not a standard carpet brush will do. Stiff bristles works best

Chemical Guys also have brushes that can be used on standard DA hook and loop system.

I could not find them in the CG products in the store, but I found this:

Grey Ultra Soft Upholstery Brush

Might be that one, not sure.

Here's some pictures showing both the Cyclo and the Porter Cable being used to machine scrub upholstery from this Detailing Boot Camp Class.

Of course you can use a hand brush but you can also machine brush using DA Polishers and also the Cyclo Polisher...

Here's a TV commercial we shot for Cyclo showing machine brushing or scrubbing carpets.

But yeah, you can do it by hand. For real delicate carpets use a brush that's delicate like the Horse Hair Brush.

For rugged carpets where getting them clean is more important than being gentle, use a stiffer nylon brush.

And welcome to the forum...

Thanks Mike! I do have the porter cable with the brush attachments. But I also wanted to pick up a brush that I could use by hand.
