What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I was looking at the various Black Friday sales and noticed that if you go the Griot's Garage website there is no mention of Black Friday but if you have been a customer you will get an email that leads you a Black Friday sale. Of course, other sellers have done this at various times with secret sales.
 
Today i acquired one detailing item and one detailing related item. I won both items on Mac Bid which is a local auction business that auctions returned items from Amazon/Lowes/etc. I won each item with a bid of $2.00, however with fees and taxes the items were $5.76 each. Apparently its made on Long Island NY and is quite popular in that area.

Ill bet i havent had a can of paste wax for 25 years. On the can it states that the product has the highest concentration of Carnuba of any product in the industry. It has excellent reviews on Amazon. The product sells for $33.00 on Amazon. My plans for this wax is to use it on my Chevelle next spring and summer.

The next item the “Seat Hoodie” is related as when im out and about and get overly dirty i can slip this over my seat and it will prevent my seat from getting dirty. Its microfiber and sells for $30.00 on Amazon.

Somebody or something decided to leave a scratch on my beloved truck. I shall maintain my good humor and remove it with the vast tools and knowledge I have available to me.

Problem solved. Griots Garage BOSS micropolisher and correcting cream took care of the problem. I’ll finish it with Griots Ceramic All in One.

They should have something on their site Friday thru Monday.

They had a special home page with some 40% products but it was only available through a link they sent. The secret home page is now available on default home page.

These are Alcantara arm rests for the front doors. In the first pic you can see the wear area, so these address that and are MUCH more comfortable. The company's name is Dream Siphon 🤌

Traditional two bucket wash with hyperwash and sealed with some Wolfgang DGPS. Hyperdressing on the trim. Haven’t had any time for detailing lately, just trying to seal her for winter. Hoping to give a much needed polish in spring.

Got another Mac Bid score. Got 30 ( three packs of 10 each ) of these Autofiber Buff Master towels. They are a 75/25 blend and 400 gsm. Won two of them with a $2.00 bid and the third with a $1.00 bid. These towels are designed for removing/buffing polishes/ liquid or paste waxes. Think they would also be good for interiors.

Also got a set of these five no name towels ill use for glass towels. Also got them for a $2.00 bid. All in for the 4 packs of towels with fees and taxes $21.50.
