What did you do today non-detailing related?

Medical tests today, as part of a health management plan. I had an ECG and ABI, the last one is blood pressure, but at both arms and both ankles simultaneously. Done in half an hour, then 5 minutes with the doctor, all good he says, see you next time. It's free to me, but they get to charge the government for it. But at least I know the ticker is still good, a couple of guys I worked with dropped in their 50s.
 
An unexpected development of my half-ars.d lawn renovation, this formally dry and patchy section has filled out with a healthy amount of Dichondra, or Dichondra repens..................

I've shed no tears over the loss of Skaife, his bias was a disgrace, especially providing on-air tactical advice to his favourite teams, or goading drivers to take out a competitor. However, they made a massive mistake dropping Crompton. I get they want to refresh the commentary, but he has been the sports voice for several decades now. At the very least, Crompton should have been kept and paired with someone fresh and young for him to mentor. That would have been a full circle moment, basically the same type of relationship he had with Mike Raymond, just in reverse. Shame on you Supercars.

I've never looked at Skaife like that, I liked the banter between Crompton and him nothing more.

On air advice is what comes with being a passionate ex race car driver,
Happens in all sports.

Have you guys ever looked into getting sim racing rigs? I did that on PS4 and PS5, it was a blast. You can do it on PC as well and not to terribly expensive unless you buy the real high grade stuff

I play a bit of Gran Turismo, both 5 & 6, on my old PS3. I recently replaced my controller after the battery died in the old one, this is the 4th replacement from memory. But I've only used it 3 times in as many months. I really couldn't justify the expense, or the space to store it, but I'd definitely like one. I also don't play socially, I usually end up trying to beat my own lap times.
 
Watched the Supercars again, Why well I don't just like clean car's I like watching them race also.

Can't say that though for others.....🤷‍♂️

We have a place here called Gibson's Donuts.
I've never had a Donut this good. I used to go there every weekend and grab a few.
However, when covid hit something happened. I lost my appetite for Donuts. I haven't had one in 5+ years now
