I didn't have anything with me, and I've stopped taking my UV light with me to check the seats before sitting on them. But the vinyl is designed to be easily wiped down

The movie was good, I read the book a couple of years ago, same guy wrote The Martian, which is one of my favourite books and movies.
 
GF and i tied for 3rd place at Trivia last night. We did get the 2 Australia questions right tho. What animal is the "Easter bunny" (bilby) and is Australia wider than the moon (True).
 
I went and filled up the FJ tonight, I was only just below half a tank, and I was waiting for the price to get below $2.20 a litre. Well it's hanging around $2.19.5 (converts to $5.73 per gallon) for the 94 octane, which is E10, and I was hoping it might go lower, but I just heard from two separate sources that Iran just blew up the biggest petrochemical plant in Saudi Arabia, the two desalination plants in Kuwait and the jet fuel storage tanks at Kuwait airport. So it's probable fuel is going back up again. Anyway, I'm good for another month or two.

It's not being reported by mainstream media here yet either, but one source was from Europe and the other was US, neither are mainstream, but they haven't been wrong yet. I found something on Reuters, but they were saying the Saudis were denying any attack, but they had seen verified video footage of fires burning at an industrial city called Jubail, which has a facility called SABIC, it's some kind of joint venture with Aramco, which is the state backed Saudi oil giant.

I'm not surprised it's not making the news there, I've seen reports of the White House threatening to have reporters arrested if they report what's actually happening.

Who the hell knows what's really going on, I do know that fuel got down to my target price, and if any of those reports were true, it was going to again, so I went down at 8pm to avoid any rush tomorrow.

I went and sat in some new Subarus, both the Outback and the Forester. I liked the Forester better, at first I thought they were both Outbacks they look so much alike. Then I went and sat in some second hand Subies, I didn't mind the older Outbacks, but the cabin of the 2023 Forester feels very strange, especially after sitting in the FJ, it's narrow and weirdly tall, with a crazy amount of headroom.

I saw this as well, had to take a picture for Roger, I don't think you get the I30N hatchback in the US, but this is the Fastback, you don't see many of these around, but I do like the look.PSX_20260414_171850.jpg

After 20 years of going into gun shops and holding some version of this rifle, I finally pulled the trigger and got my own. I wanted the model with the traditional wood stock but it was sold out and with the St. Patty’s day sale I couldn’t resist. It took forever to arrive but I put the scope on it yesterday and hopefully within the next two weeks I can put some rounds through her.
