I have a Harbor Freight Pittsburgh 3-ton Low Profile jack. Jack stands are Craftsman but I've been looking for new ones to use at pinch welds.

I was always scared of floor jacks so when I moved into my house I installed a Bend Pak 2 post lift which I find myself using very infrequently.

My harbor freight Pittsburgh is 10 years old still going strong

$100 Costco floor jack and I left my really nice stands at the old house, not sure if I will ask my son for their return, probably just replace them

I bought one of the 3 ton Alum. jax from H.F.
I have two sets of stands- one larger set I got from sears and cant remember where I got the smaller set.
But both sets I stitched on a 1/8th " piece of plate so they slide on the floor smooth, its a smart little mod.
I will try to post pix tomorrow but I am sure they will show up sideways

No loss of life or limb so i can laugh bout it now...but probly 4 years ago i was doing a winter to summer wheel/tire swap on my pickup in the driveway using my smaller craftsman jack stands(b4 i had my hb stands). Being spring the ground was still a lil spungy. I jacked up the rear and tossed the two craftsman jacks stands under the rear diff and yanked the jack out to use on the front. It was an asss hair unlevel...but only a pinch of concern...so carry on with it.

B4 i raised the front up too i pulled both rear wheels off and b4 i could get the swap to summers on the back the fucckin stands sunk just enough that they tilted and the truck fell to the ground smashing the one stand.

Had to use baby shovel to dig out enough room between the rear diff and the ground to get the jack under to get it back up in the air.

Lesson learned....i now only use that method in a garage lol. Also i put wood under the stands if i use them in the driveway now. After that is when i got the hb jack stands i think, cuz one craftsman was smashed

I use this titanlift6600 at my buddys shop a good bit when paint correcting.

Its amazing for anything detailing. Also would work good for good bit of wrenchin duties but some exhaust and tranny work would be hard.

I will have one of these when i build a garage.

HF Daytona SnapOn-knockoff 3-ton low profile jack and HF Esco/Schwaben-knockoff stands, and recently got a QuickJack 5000TL on sale. I also ordered 3x4x6 rubber Rotary lift blocks for the QJ from carliftparts.com. A lot more confidence-inspiring than the tiny QJ blocks, and way quicker to set up under the rockers/jack points.

Have a handful... a 25-year-old Snap On 2-Ton jack, a pair of Napa six-ton bottle jacks, Roller Skates under the Mustang, a pair of Craftsman 2-ton stands, four Craftsman 3-ton stands, and a pair of Big Red 3-ton stands. And a Matco/Forward mid-rise lift. I keep looking for an aluminum jack, but can't seem to find any that lift over 18" - next house has the ceiling height for a full-size lift.

Both jack and stands are craftsman that I've had for 30+ years, but most times I use ramps unless the wheel needs to be removed.

Oh yes, good reminder I forgot to mention the set of Race Ramps - they are a great time-saver for doing quick oil changes, etc.

Mine are medal. They were used when I got them many years ago. Found them on a curb. Still work perfect

I have low profile floor jacks, Pittsburgh jack stands, and extended race ramps. The race ramps are awesome.

About two years ago I got an advantage 4 post lift at the shop. Best investment.

Yeah, heard about too many recalls on the Harbor Freight Jack Stands so I just wouldn't be able to trust them.

Jack both at home and work I use the HF Pitsburgh 1.5 ton aluminum because they're cheap and light (neither of which bug me for a jack because I won't be under the car with just a jack).

Jack stands I've got a set of old Craftsman ones.
