hi all,

Feed back please
I would like to get a good glaze to add to my arsenal. I currently use wdgps and Fuzion wax. What glaze would you all recommend to cover up light swirls that might occur when polishing is nor convenient? i have a black Porsche and a Dk Blue metallic Escalade.

I think glazes in general offer some filling, but the new sealant compatible ones dont do it as well or maybe I should say as much filling.

I use DWG all the time I have not found it to do any filling . Just my 2 cent. Either Poorboys black hole glaze or their white hole glaze will fill.

How do you guys feel about the 3M Imperial Hand glaze? I happen to have a bottle and don't want to get something else unless this is garbage. thanks.

Imperial Hand Glaze is very good , very similar to Megs #7. It is a little harder to use then modern glazes. Best used on single stage paint.

I absolutely love it, and this is my go to glaze. It works wonders on my BMW, works great on my wife's VW and on a volvo S60. It fills minor swirls very well, and does not prevent me from using either a wax (typical=Meg Gold Class) or Klasse SG (although I prefer AIO prior to SG).

I was given a tip recently that works very well too, if you want to use the 3M product in 2 stages:
- stage 1, add a small dab of P21S surface restorer to the 3M IHG and use as a polish to remove swirls
- stage 2: straight 3M IHG
This worked wonders on a Boxster I did last saturday (and yes, I do everything by hand, no polisher, so IHG is a good fit for me)

I have the Wolfgang finishing glaze. It is great. Don't use much glaze though. I try to correct any marring and not cover them up. I have used it on some friends car that did not want to pay for the correction and they were amazed at the results.

exactly! Im all about correction as well, but the PB Blk Hole just looks so damn good after you wipe it of.Im the MAN

After reading the Black hole instructions of buffing until the product disapears into the paint wouldn't it be just as much work to remove most swirls? are you really saving that much time?

Or are you guys just WO haze WO with PB glazes and still getting good results?Feed back please
