What Happened to the Edit Feature?

I noticed today that the EDIT option isn't available. In the past there was a 24 hour period in which you could edit a post you made. I've used this feature many times to clarify or make grammatical corrections to posts I have made but today I wanted to edit a post and the option is no longer available. What's the deal?

I thought it was just me! I had the same problem. Prepare for a lot more grammar and spelling errors!

It used to be 60 minutes.

I changed it to make it unlimited for a forum member that wanted to make some changes to some older threads for work related reasons.

When I changed it back I put it back to 60 minutes. The 60 minute time limit came from some problem forum members who are no longer active.

So I've changed it but not to unlimited. It's now 3 days.

Same here, John.

I was alerted to UncleDavy's unfortunate accident yesterday afternoon while at work, and responded on Taptalk. The post didn't come out exactly as I had planned (emoji-wise), and when I was able to access my computer the edit feature was not available.

Glad it's back up and running. And 72 hours is more than generous IMO.......

Three days is more than enough for me. Most of the time 24 hours would be plenty. Many days I'll post while I'm also doing other things and this leads to all sorts of errors and sentences not making sense. Being able to go back and clean up my posts is really helpful.
