[FONT="]I was watching trucks today and they were showing how to bring back the life of the paint of an old jeep....
First they used Qd but the jeep was way to dirty for that.....
Then they use 3 tablespoons baking soda and 1 quart warm water to "Neutralize" the bird dropping that had etched into the paint.....
Next they wet sanded these spots and the pant chips they filled in with water and dawn mix... should you use dawn for this?? I think it would be to harsh.
Then they hit it with the rotary working down from wool pad and then 2 foam pads one cutting and one polish pretty standard.. But he put the polish in drops on the hood not on the pad and then covered the good with Qd'er do any of you do this and coated the pad.
Then they just buffed it all down looked good but it was hard to tell on tv.
But last but not least they were at a coin op car wash using the car washes brush on the jeep
I was thinking to myself I just lost faith in them lol
Just though i would share and see what you all thought....
Thanks
