What is the best WATER BASED tire gel for customers cars

I know its not a pro thing, but I have this no touch tire foam off the wally shelf. It works really good. ill have to see what brand it is when I get home.

I really like BF Tire Gel but I am starting to like Opti-Bond more ever since I started using it. They both don't have sling and very good gloss control. Initial app is natural finish to low gloss.

1 coat of Meguiars All Seasons dressing ,then lightly buffed off gives a nice fresh look.

I use CarPro PERL and have no issues with looks and durability.

Carpro PERL, very durable and versatile, and it can be diluted as well if you want a more "natural" finish.

Question for you guys - are you referring to clear gels, or emulsion creams? I don't have access to a lot of products which you refer to but the only gels I know of are solvent based (they are the clear ones) and the water based are all creams (so white or otherwise opaque).

Thanks

Megs HyperDressing - spray on walk away :) Thats how it works for me.

I've found that most customers want really shiny tires. In that case I go with PERL straight. If you want less shiny, dilute it 1:1 or 1:2.

Here's a post from the OPT forum I made a while back regarding tire shine and application. My go-to tire shine is OPT Opti-Bond. I hate super shiny tires. Opti-Bond leaves tires with a low sheen, just nice & black - like tires should look. Anyway, here's what I've said before:

I've used a few different methods of applying tire shine & what I've found to work best for me is using the Griot's Garage Tire Shine Applicator. I spray my favorite tire dressing (Opti-Bond, of course) onto the applicator and then go around the tire with it. To get the best results, I hit all 4 tires & then move the vehicle enough so that the bottoms of the tires are now accessible. Then, hit those areas real quick. The applicator applies the tire shine evenly and gives a distinct "cut-off" on the outer tread so it looks very professional. Here are some pics of tires I've treated in this manner:

Have my Car Pro Perl diluted at 1:5. Give just the right amount of shine for me.

I use CG VRP. In the bottle it's more like a cream. It does have a learning curve. I cut mine 50/50 with water and it's easier to work with. I can use inside and out. It has no greasy feel because it's dry to the touch once it cures. My only complaint is you need to apply let sit then buff to a satin shine. In cream form it's a little tough to get uniform coverage that's why I cut it with distilled water and it saves me money.
