Get home from a hard days worth of work at the day job and find this sitting inside the house. A box from Autopia-Carcare of items that Ordered when they had the 15% sale on everything but polishers (never got the tracking numbers for this package so I was kind of pissed). Makes me a bit happy after having such a awful day at work to find a box of goodies for me to dive into.

I open the box and take out the invoice and cross out each item as I pull them out. Then I look at these and say WTF?

Little tiny hard black beads imbedded on the surface/side/back of the HyrdoTech pads that I ordered. One Cyan pad them all over the surface that came off with a brush but some are deeply imbedded into the surface! WTF? I have some CCS pads I have here that are SEALED in plastic bags with part number/product discretion but these where just sent in a brown bag. I'm fine with that part but these beads where all on the pads and I've gotten most of them off with a pad brush/painters tape but now I have about two or three that's really deep into the foam and I don't know If I can get them out:(

That's most likely a shipping problem. Not sure what they are though.

I try to refrain from calling AG and to always give them the benefit of the doubt but since these are pads and the beads won't come out, I would call them and see if you can replace them.

Yeah I looked and I can't get them to come out unless I wanna tear up the foam.

Sent an email to autopia-carcare so I hope to get a reply tomorrow.

All the pads I have every purchased (from any source) have come sealed. Even if they are sold bulk they should be handled with care and placed in sealed plastic (IMO). I get really annoyed with contaminated MF towels, I would be pretty upset if this happened to my pads too.

Emailed their customer service and John is taking care of it.

Personally says he'll pack the item and ship them back out to me, as for the beaded ones? Says to just keep them.

Great customer service that makes me a return PBMA customer for years to come!

Glad they are taking care of you. That is normal for them.

I was contemplating maybe using a powerful vac to suck the beads out!

I have a shop vac and dyson and they got most of the surface ones out. Few I had to squeeze like a pimple/black head. I still have about one or three in the red that won't come out and the two cyans have them also on the surface that won't come out.

Ok then replacement seems a better way out!

I got mine from AG in sealed packs(HT pads)

btw I can relate to pimple/black head squeeze! lol  (Acne excoriee des junes filles)
