Rubbing alcohol right?
What is a good % for alcohol to use and at what dilution ratio?
I'm about to take care of my black suv with some menzerna 2500 and 400 in some spots and finish it with finish kare 1000p.
Thank you guys

50% rubbing alcohol and 50% distilled water.

I never remove polish oils
before applying FK 1000P.

And, to take that a step further:
Only if the Waxes’ manufacturers should
specifically stipulate that their Wax(es)
must be applied to a “squeaky clean” surface,
would I ever even begin to consider using any
type of a panel-wipe to remove whatever remains
from the previous polishing processes.

My same sentiment applies
to Sealants as well.

Just the guy I was hoping that would see this :D
I always see you recommending this wax/sealant so I would imagine you would have experience with the FK 1000p.
I'll leave the oils alone....
Your also the #1 reason why I recently ordered this wax/sealant :)

Unless the sealant manufacturer says to do it, I never do.

I don't remove polish before sealants, but some compounds may need to remove to check your paint
I don't use coatings. But do use hydro blue( I love that stuff) remember, isopropyl alcohol comes in many strengths. 50/50 mix of 10% alcohol is different than 50/50 mix with 90% alcohol.
