What pad do you use glaze on?

My car just got repainted grey metallic on my BMW 89' 325i two months ago. I'm confused on what pad I should put Meguiars #7 Glaze on? I saw on the video or somewhere that he used the white pad, then I looked up on the pad chart blue and red can be use for glaze. I use the blue pad with NXT tech wax 2.0 and top it off with Meguiars #26 or Meguiars Gold Class. Does that sound right?

A lot depends on the glaze. Some like Blacklight have fine abrasives and you can get great results with a polishing pad. Others are best used with a fine finishing pad, of which there are many choices.
